IMT-2000 - International Mobile Telecommunications
2000 defines third generation mobile systems which are scheduled
to start service in the year 2000. These systems will provide access,
by means of one or more radio links, to a wide range of telecommunication
services

- standard bus (computer interconnection) architecture that is associated
with the IBM AT motherboard
ISAPI - Internet Server API - A programming
interface on Internet Information Server (IIS), Microsoft's Web
server. Using ISAPI function calls, Web pages can invoke programs
that are written as DLLs on the server, typically to access data
in a database. IIS comes with a DLL that allows embedded queries
to access ODBC-compliant databases. ISAPI is an alternative to using
CGI scripts on Microsoft Web servers

Medical Band - A part of the radio spectrum that can be used without

- An organization that sets international standards - the U.S. member
body is ANSI. ISO deals with all fields except electrical and electronics,
which is governed by the older International Electrotechnical Commission
(IEC). It carries out its work through more than 160 technical committees
and 2,300 subcommittees and working groups and is made up of standards
organizations from more than 75 countries

organization that provides Internet access to businesses and consumers
