National
Air and Space
Museum
The Smithsonian's
National Air and Space Museum is the most popular museum in the world.
Its annual attendance exceeds 10m. The exhibits are in galleries on
the 1st and 2rd floors in addition to the open spaces which span all
floors. Some of the most impressive and valuable air and space craft
are suspended from the ceilings. The museum has artifacts from the
beginning of flight to recent world record holders. In spite of the
fact that I live a short distance from Air and Space, as it frequently
is called, it is always a pleasure to see the impressive exhibits.
This photolog presents interesting views of the exhibits and a perspective
between multiple artifacts.
It is with great excitement that we look forward to
the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Washington Dulles airport. This
will open in December 2003 and be 760,000 sq. feet in area. On display
will be an SR-71 and the Space Shuttle Enterprise. Check out this
