About the Photographer

Dr. John Latta

With some 30 years enmeshed in technology the digital camera is an expression of visual freedom. It combines digital electronics with optics that provides for choice, complexity, fun and creativity. I also have a passion for travel. Having visited some 47 countries and all of the continents, planning and getting to the next adventure is always high on the personal priority list. With digital photography, travel becomes a means for visual expression using the images that are taken. Taking pictures and travel is a means of "collecting experiences" in the world. Being able to publish and to sell the products from these efforts is one small measure of conveying the experiences from the world in a form that others can enjoy.
